You have to be 18 or over. One account each. Use a name people would recognise — do not pretend to be somebody else.
Telling people something true and good about them. That is the whole thing.
Do not post insults, threats, or anything meant to hurt. Do not dress up an insult as a compliment — we can tell, and so can everyone else.
Also not allowed: sexual content, other people's private information such as addresses or phone numbers, advertising, spam, impersonating somebody, or anything illegal.
What you write stays yours. By posting it you let us show it on the wall you sent it to. If a compliment is on your wall, you can remove it any time. If you wrote it, the person it is about can remove it.
You can remove anything from your own wall and block anyone from writing on it again. Anyone can report a post. We can take down anything that breaks these rules and close accounts that keep doing it.
We do not read every post before it goes up. We rely on you telling us.
Email signup@complimentsforchange.com and we will close your account and remove your things. You can also ask for a copy first.
This is a small free app run by a nonprofit. It may break, go down, or change. We build it carefully but we cannot promise it will always work, and we are not responsible for what other people write here.
