For the love of football
Compliment the Raiders
An invitation from Dawn Weir

Las Vegas, let’s show our Raiders some love.

Silver and black, every Sunday at Allegiant Stadium. Write a sincere compliment for a player, the coaches or the whole team. I’ll gather every one and share them with the team.

A gift from the fans, not an official team program.

This is a community invitation from Dawn Weir and Compliments for Change. The Las Vegas Raiders and the NFL haven’t partnered with or endorsed it. Every compliment is read with care and shared with the team as a gift.

How to write one that lands

Make it specific. Make it sincere.

A compliment a player remembers names something real and says why it matters.

  1. Step one

    Notice something real

Their effort, their teamwork, their courage, the way they treat teammates and fans.

  2. Step two

    Say why it matters

What it means to you, your kids, your family or your town.

  3. Step three

    Keep it about heart

Effort, character and team spirit. Never bodies or looks, and no favors attached.

To the players

“You never stop playing until the whistle. That’s the kind of grit this city admires.”

To the coaches

“Thank you for teaching young men to lead on and off the field.”

To the team staff

“From the trainers to the grounds crew, game day happens because of you.”

From a Raiders family

“Three generations of our family wear silver and black. Thank you for giving us Sundays together.”
